What’s your most embarrassing song currently in your Playlist?
Chris Rice, “The Cartoon Song.” It always makes me laugh and brings back memories of cranking it up to wake my kids in the morning.

Who is your favorite storyteller?
Frank Peretti. I really love the suspense in his novels and the reminder of the spiritual battle around us. How wonderful to be able to see things for what they are and bring them to our Lord.

On the lighter side, I love Francine Rivers.

Most amazing encounter with someone in need?
I have only been on one mission trip, to Mexico, which was humbling and rewarding. At this time in my life, God is opening my heart to those in need and giving me a desire to express that in practical ways. I keep socks, gloves, snacks, water and sometimes Subway gift cards in my car. What has touched my heart lately is handing out a Subway gift card to a homeless person at a stop light. When you look them in the eye, smile and let them know someone cares, I know it means a lot.

Why do you do what you do for i58:10 Media?
In the last few years, God has stripped me of things I felt I needed or deserved. He has truly changed my heart to focus on His kingdom, His people in need. I am so excited to work for an organization that truly expands God’s kingdom. A wonderful group of people that work very hard to help those in need and change lives. This is my heart also, and I know God brought me here. I am looking forward to the plans He has for me.

Describe your family?
Family is very important to me. I have five children: three daughters and two sons. We enjoy getting together for holidays and often take a week off to go to the Oregon coast together. We love playing games, water skiing and hiking.

What is one quote that has had a big impact on your life?
This is what the Lord says:
“Stand at the crossroads and look;
ask for the ancient paths,
ask where the good way is, and walk in it,
and you will find rest for your souls.'”

– Jeremiah 6:16
